Breed Description
Appearance
The Aegean cat is a muscular cat that has a long frame, medium size head that is wide. The Aegean is semi-longhaired with a rugged coat and thick tail. They come in bi or tri colors and one of the colors is always white. Other colors can be blue, cream, black, or red and they come with and without stripes.
Personality
Aegeans are intelligent and social felines, with an extraordinary talent for being a predator.
Origin
It is said that the Aegean has greek origins starting in the 1990's, specifically coming from the Cycladic islands in the Aegean Sea (hence the name). The Aegean is one of the newest recognized cat breeds and has not gained much popularity to this point because of the unknown nature of the cat.
