Need Help with a Breed

I am soon to be living on my own and feel the time is right to have a cat. I am hoping someone could help me with a breed type

Lifestyle:

I work between 830 - 5.30
I will be home at night and the majority of the weekend (I'll only be out for a few hours anyway!)
I'd rather not spend too much time grooming (ie: weekly not daily)

What I would like in the cat:
Something Loyal
Needs to be able to live inside all the time (I have wildlife around)
Something that will love me as much as I love it!
I dont mind if its vocal/has a fun personality
Something that likes to cuddle or sit on my lap!
May need to be able to live with a dog


I would value anyone's help in this.
